My Sunglasses
Just a little something from the upcoming Jazz album, not that I know anything about Jazz...
I'm going to get my coat and my hat and my sunglasses
And walk right out of town
I'm going to wander out of my mind and take the future exit
And then I'll hang around
And wait for the world to lose its harm
There must be a time when it had that charm
I'll just stay a moment ahead of the moment
Or ten years down the line
I'm going to get the love of my life and my sunglasses
And forget who I am
I'm going to come and go as I like with my own magic
And hold it in my hands
Spin and weave and make the world disappear
Open my heart and lose that fear
Arrive in time way ahead of time
And no one will know I was here
I'm going to steal the president's car
And print my own greenback money
Right out of thin air
I'm going to beat the banks with a stick
And strip the bankers naked and march them down the street
And all the people can shout hooray
When the moneychangers get sent away
We'll line them up and we'll send them down
To the world below
I'm going to dance right out of this world
And put the king in his castle
While the corporations burn
I'm going hide the seeds of my love from the ghouls over at Monsanto
And plant them in the ground
A beautiful world is on the way
I'll walk you to the mountain but I can't stay
When the snakes are gone I'll be moving on
And forget that I was here.
Yeah... it never rains but it pours, zippidy doo dah and all that, Thank you Mr. Bluebird for not leaving a deposit on my shoulder and spoiling the mood. I'm losing my mind, thank God. I should have lost it a long time ago but it keeps reminding me where it is. so I right clicked on the inside of my head and then clicked on rename and purposely paid no attention to what I wrote, so now I don't know what it's called anymore and I can't use the search engine on my memory and that's the name of that tune.
I have no idea what this song is about but at least I'm recording again which means there's going to be a monsoon for awhile and then we'll see if things don't look a little greener down the road.
